Accessibility and Accommodations

The University of Fribourg provides disability-adjustment measures intended to compensate for disability-related inequalities and support equitable participation in university study. These measures may include special arrangements for studying and examinations; they do not alter the learning outcomes or academic requirements of the programme. Information about the process is available from the University’s Studies & Disability service.

Registered students generally submit requests through MyUnifr and should begin the process as early as possible, since formal deadlines apply and requests may take several weeks to process. The Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Office can be contacted at handicap@unifr.ch.

Once an adjustment has been approved, please contact me so that we can implement it appropriately in this course. You do not need to disclose private medical details to me beyond what is necessary to arrange the approved support. If you have an access need, temporary circumstance, or special situation that is not fully addressed by the University’s formal measures, please come speak with me. I will work with you where possible while maintaining the essential learning objectives of the course.
